Bice Ristorante

Bice has many things to like and see. First, they have a great, sometimes raucus, bar scene, and many come just for that. In general, this place is a solid 10 as far as people watching goes, either lunch or dinner.

There is a demographic curiosity peculiar to PB - many fathers take their beautiful daughters out to a nice dinner at Bice. Those have to be their daughters, don't you think? (And what happened to their lips?)

The dining room is comfortable, warm, and elegant, but a little long and narrow. It can get quite noisy when full, especially if people are drinking heavily, which they do.

The outdoor dining is exceptional, among the best in PB. And the food is very good.

We had the caprese salad, off season, and it was still delicious. The bolognese was solid - not the very best ever, but good. Others at our table also liked their fish.

One of the more notable characteristics of reviews of Bice is how many of them complain about nasty, snotty waters. You can definitely sense a little hauty attitude here - a little snoot factor - but the service we've received has been very good. Attentive, not intrusive, not trying to hurry us along, just enjoy yourselves.

Like every nice restaurant in PB, Bice is overpriced for what you get. But this is a Palm Beach scene of the first order, so enjoy the scene and the view.
