Reviewed by adminThis is a steak and seafood joint located in a beach strip center in Manalapan. They serve a mean martini, along with expense account quality steaks and seafood. Everything we tried was good, better than expected actually - the veal chop, strip steak, steak au poivre, and a fish dish.
I read another review which seemed to include a description of our waiter - "Our waiter reminded me of Richard Lewis — he displayed an amusing neuroticism as he rattled off a list of house specials that took him five minutes to complete". Perfect description, except in our case he was very rude with my wife - "If you will please quit talking so I can finish, then I can leave". I think he was trying to be funny but he didn't pull it off and my wife hated the whole experience.
Not cheap, not fast, but good steaks and seafood and cocktails, and hopefully the service will be better next time.
