I have getting Italian takeouts from Vincenzo's for over a decade. I have never had a bad item there. The food is top-drawer restaurant quality. And they have a wonderful menu from which to choose.
I started with their chick parm, which is delicious, especially when you get some extra sauce, and the fresh pasta that cooks in an instant when home. Then I tried their sausage and peppers, which became a household favorite. Their wedding soup is awesome. Their meatballs are world class. People drive across the city for their calzones. Veal shank? Check. Braciole? Check. And the lasagna is outstanding, especially at $9 per pound.
Did I mention I really liked this place?
I am sure that business has grown enormously since their neighbor, Trader Joe's, moved in. They haven't always been this popular, but the food has always greatly exceeded my expectations. Plus it's a nice little specialty food store, and the wine selection is pretty good also.
Vincenzo's is a real Columbus treasure that consistently delivers high quality food at very reasonable prices.
